I bought the T-bird on October 4, 1996, so I've had it just over 3 years. It had 82,027 miles on it when I drove it home. It now has 149,500+. Other than tires, brakes, and shocks, I didn't start doing any repairs until about 6 months ago.
I'm slowly working on getting the problems with the T-bird fixed. I loaned the car to Maria's brother and he had the driver door hinge fixed.
My radio has been acting funny for a few months. The volume changes on it's own, with no pattern. Maria's Christmas present to me was an in-dash CD receiver for this car. We installed it today and it seems to work pretty good, though I must admit this was my first car stereo installation and I really didn't know what I was doing. I've looked around for speakers, but since the stock speakers sound okay, I think that'll have to wait.
I bought rear tires for the car. It has improved the ride greatly. I need to get the driver side window fixed, and a few other things. I washed it and it cleaned up about as good as it can. Personally, I like the looks of this car.
